This novel, based on true events, tells the story of Alborde, an impoverished town where children cannot complete school because their parents have to migrate for several months each year. Juan, a boy from the town, realizes that things have to change and he develops a plan to make of Alborde a land of opportunities, one step at a time. This is a tale of courage, of solidarity and, among all, of being committed to making a change in our own communities.
