The session was attended by members of the FAO, a representative from a UN specialised agency and by observers of six intergovernmental and international non-governmental organisations. Several working documents were presented by the Secretariat for discussion and decision by the Sub-committee, and a number of emerging issues and related areas of work were also considered.
