Monographic study of brothers Julio, Guillermo and Ricardo Valleto and their studio photographic work in Mexico City covering from the 19th century Empire of Maximilian to the early 20th century Porfirista regime. The study is divided in two main sections: the first reviews the historic – biographic dimension of the 3 brothers and their photographic studios while a second part examines the democratization of photography and the social, cultural and ideological concepts of the period aesthetics and fashion trends.
