Un Sultán En Palermo

Autores

Resumen del Libro

A scriptwriter, filmmaker, and author presents a mythic novel in which pride, greed, and lust intermingle in the court of twelfth-century Palermo, a Muslim city rivaling Baghdad and Cordoba in size and splendor conquered by the Normans, and now ruled by Sultan Rujari (King Roger), who surrounds himself with Muslim intellectuals, several concubines, and an administration presided over by gifted eunuchs, angering the Christian bishops who expected to be at the pinnacle of power, and who are outraged at the seemingly pagan decadence of the court.
