We want to establish critical consciousness in our students, by redescribing the voices of this culture (Yoruba) and substituting the total discourse for the micrological, which means a transforming struggle. We pretend that the historical-educational practice, when we rediagram this part of our cultural history, be the space committed to where the diverse language, equality, social justice, possibility and hope reign. It is the way to start eliminating the blinders of racial bias sublimated in the school curriculum.
