In this study the author seeks to deconstruct any preconceived ideas we may have of the southwest part of Arcadia and rebuilds a picture of the `mental and religious landscape during the archaic and classical periods. Approaching the territories of Phigaleia and Pharrasia from a landscape archaeology perspective, she examines the geography of the area,
