This volume of series dedicated to native plastic artists from the state of Nuevo León presents a selection that reflect the skilled drawing technique and provocative use of color that Sylvia Ordóñez (b. Monterrey, 1956) expresses in her self-portraits and still-life canvas of exotic fruits. Of the artist (daughter of extraordinary painter Efrén Ordóñez Villalobos) is said Sylvias fruits fill the eyes with their triple presence: fruits-canvas, fruits-piece of fruit, and fruits-suggestions of reiterative fertility/feminism -Ricardo Elizondo Elizondo.
