This annual publication contains a range of economic and social data for the countries of the Latin America & Caribbean region. This edition contains some important modifications, both in content and design, in order to incorporate technological and statistical developments, and it is organised into four chapters covering: demographic and social indicators, economic, trade and balance-of-payments statistics as well as national accounts, the environment and natural resources, and issues relating to methodology and metadata. An electronic version of the yearbook is presented on the accompanying CD-ROM with additional tables giving more detailed information on the economic and social situation in each country.
