This 48-page worktext is designed for students of Mexican background for the purpose of developing a deeper appreciation for their Mexican heritage. It is also designed to supplement other English-as-a-second language materials used to teach basic skills of communication in Spanish or English, or both languages. The book is specified for students in grades 1 through 6 and is illustrated with black-and-white photographs of everyday activities in the home, neighborhood, and school. The text is in Spanish and English. Pages are provided for students to practice map skills, draw pictures, and tell stories.
