Resumen del Libro

Assaulting Mexico is an exciting novel that narrates the horrors brought about by the arbitrary U.S. invasion of Mexico between 1846 and 1848. In this war, the country lost half of its territory to a group of invaders, who, guided by a presumed Manifest Destiny, saw themselves as having the divine right to invade any nation. This is a tale of heroic struggles and tragedies, including that of Saint Patricks Battalion, a handful of Irish soldiers who deserted from the U.S. army to fight alongside the Mexicans.
