Paulo Archias Mendes da Rocha is one of the outstanding exponents of contemporary Brazilian architecture. Since receiving the award Grande Premio at the International Architecture Exhibition at the VI Bienal de Sao Paulo in 1961, his work has been widely admired and extensively published in international trade journals.
