New edition of this fundamental work of Puerto Rican written tradition in which the celebration of black heritage conforms and frames the work of one of the most relevant poets in Puerto Rico. This joint edition with the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture of Pales works includes a prologue by Mercedes Lopez Baralt, a recognized scholar specialized in his poetry.
