Resumen del Libro

The Macroplaza is the town square or plaza built in the early 1980s and located in the heart of the city of Monterrey, Mexico. The project Macroplaza 20.30 is an architectural intervention in Monterrey to reform the public space through the generation of other more well-defined and contained squares (called microplazas) within the extensive existing larger plaza. These smaller plazas are created through structures superimposed on existing levels creating shaded walkways and spaces protected from the Sun, as well as various programs such as cafes, toilets, drinking fountains, information for citizens and tourists, spaces for citizen participation and urban art.
