Monographic edition that explores the work of noted artist Campeche (b. Puerto Rico) as a portrait painter of colonial society and of religious icons. An English translation of this same study was incorporated in the catalogue of the itinerant exhibition Retratos: 200 Years of Latin American Portraits , presented in various museums, inaugurated in 2004 in New York and that traveled to Miami, San Diego and Washington.
