Hope And Hopelessness In The Marxist Vision Of Baldomero Lillo And Jose Emilio Pacheco

Autores

Resumen del Libro

The injustice established in the coal mining industry and exploitation of its workers, a lot of them children, inspired writers like Baldomero Lillo to criticize such situations, which appear in this thesis. A Marxist frame of mind that the reader will visualize will help focus the operation of working children and the abuse committed upon them, their hope and innocence cruelly taken, forcing the children to toil the mines at a tender age. These children were taken from the laps of their mothers and forced to give up their toys and families. The company turned them into silenced, taciturn beings, whose only right was to work, only to tell them later that they were the future of the world, when in fact they were not. Their human rights were violated with impunity.
