The Stokes system describes an approximate model for viscous fluid flow. We know closed-form solutions only in particular cases. Consequently, it is necessary to compute other solutions numerically. We implement in this work a finite element method to solve the Stokes system, using Taylor-Hood elements to discretize the domain.
