Although none of the systems were feasible using prices of similar products in the market, the bed system shows the best economics results. To be considered feasible, a vermicompost produced in bed systems must be sold at a minimum of $1.86, $1.06, $0.85, $0.78 y $0.74 per pound for the processing scales under study. Fertilize with vermicompost resulted 18 times more expensive than using inorganic fertilizers.
