Resumen del Libro

The book is devoted to the study and interpretation of the mural by realist artist Roux (b. Argentina), a monumental artwork (5.5 x 12.5 m.) that took the artist 4 years to create and expresses with an extraordinary and refined aesthetic sense the social and cultural history of the city of Buenos Aires. The 3 section mate tempera mural (inspired in Gustave Courbets The Artists Studio , 1855) was created specially for the building designed and built by architect César Pelli for the Fundación Bank Boston.
