A detailed study of the architecture, construction and inner furnishings of excavated houses in and around the site of Olivar de Castulo, Linares in the region of Jaen. The authors discuss the geography, geology, climate and resources of the local area, the Romanisation of the area and changes in subsequent phases, the results of various campaigns of excavation in 1971, 1985, 1986, 1991. A meaty Spanish text, which at times is hard to follow.
