This volume establishes a diachronic line between the pictoric origins until the XIX century. In this book we discover the rare mural traces in antiquity, the religious miniatures, the Maestro de Bangas Renaissance paintings, the Velazquian baroque of Puga, Gregorio Ferros neoclasicism and Jenaro Perez Villaamils romanticism. This last painter was a very important character in the Spanish painting of the XIX century, until we get to Dionisio Fierross postromanticism.
