The cash flow of a 2kW and 5kW of installed photovoltaic capacity was found and the IRR for each case was measured. It was found that it is not economically feasible to invest in photovoltaic technology in Puerto Rico at this point in time. Several public policy recommendations on how to make it economically feasible to invest in this type of technology were presented.
