Huaoranis.- the last Warrior.[This book emerges from Mauro Burzios 6-month experience with the Huaorani people. The book is divided in four chapters, in the first the author approaches the topic with a wide photographic repertoire and a short text on the main ecological characteristics of Yasuní, one of the richest areas in the planet. The second part is devoted to the Huaorani culture and its social organization based on small tribes and large familes (ninacabo). Myths, ayahuasca, and spirits of great warriors are reflected in the text and photography of this chapter. The third chapter summarizes five centuries of an unknown history, from failed conquest attempts by the Incas and the Spaniards to present times.
