Resumen del Libro

Foreign direct investment establishes a triangular relationship, involving: the transnational corporation investing funds, the capital-importing host country and the capital-exporting home country. Most studies focus on the relationship between the company and host country. This paper examines how the laws and regulations of home countries can affect international investment agreements. In particular, it looks at how home countries might increase foreign direct investment flows, including associated technology transfer, to developing countries.
