In every man’s life there is a yearning —a quest for the one, the true and only goddess, that one woman that will fulfill them. Luciano Talbek, a Latin-American journalist, spews ink until a character of his own tale, a tale he appears to have imagined. Desirée seduces him in discourse, her scent floats in every drop of wine, she is beside him in the uncontrollable walk through the labyrinth of his social being. With each article the characters change. Talbek becomes Luciano. Luciano talks, to us and to himself, always under a skeptical eye that observes him, and observes us.
