Enrique Badosa Pedro (Barcelona, 1927) is a Catalan writer and translator. He has published essays and volumes of poetry. He was awarded the Premio Ciudad de Barcelona in 1990 and the Fastenrath Award in 1992. His Spanish translations of the anthology La lírica medieval catalana (1966) as well as of some works of Salvador Espriu and Josep Vicenç Foix are well known. His poetry is notable for its sense of irony and as a means of personal knowledge. As a translator, he has contributed to raising the awareness of Catalan literature among Spanish readers. In 2006 he received the Creu de Sant Jordi granted by the Generalitat of Catalonia. His published volumes are: Más allá del viento (1956), Baladas para la paz (1963), Arte poética (1968), Poesía (1956-71) (1973), Dad este escrito a las llamas (1976), Epigramas confidenciales (1989), Epigramas de la Gaya Ciencia (2000), Parnaso funerario (2002), De fin de siglo (2003).
