This second volume of 5 comprises a series of studies that resulted from the analysis of the fauna osseous remains discovered in different levels of post-Teotihuacan settlements in 4 underground tunnels (la Basura, el Camino, las Varillas and el Pirul) located behind the pyramid of the Sun and excavated from 1992 to 1995 as part of the project Estudio de túneles y cuevas de Teotihuacán . Author archaeologist Manzanilla (b. New York, 1951, nationalized Mexican) is the first Mexican woman to become a member of the Science Academy of the Unites States.
