Documents the private archive of Mario A. Canale (b. Argentina) that explores Argentinean art from the end of the 19th century to the middle of the 20th century. Much of the material has not been published and is rich in visual imagery including: photographs of the period, prints, drawing, water color, and publications. Some of the prominent figures include: Eduardo Sivori, Godofredo Daireaux, Alfonso Bosco, (all three who were master teachers of Canale), Eduardo Schiaffino, Martin Halharro, Walter de Navazio and many others –Provided by vendor.
