Resumen del Libro

Francisco Castano Clavero (Salamanca, 1951) graduated in French Studies and is a high school professor at an institute in Madrid. He is a member of the management team of Hiperión Editors where he has published his poetry collections El decorado y la naturaleza (1987), Libro de las maldades (1992) and El fauno en cuarentena (1993), as well as Limericks, animales y canciones, an experiment of poetry for children, published in the Colección Ajonjolí of the same publisher. He has translated from French the Cartas de la monja portuguesa by María Alcoforado, as well as various poems of the French Symbolist poet Stéphane Mallarmé. He was a member of the Jury of the 7th International Poetry Prize Antonio Machado in Baeza in 2003.
