Binarración Y Parodia En Las Primeras Tres Novelas De Osvaldo Soriano

Autores

Resumen del Libro

This study discusses how Soriano established himself by eloquently combining genres. For instance, he fused detective fiction with the comedy of Laurel and Hardy. This apparently incongruent mix reveals itself in a bombastic style that borders on the absurd as a commentary on the historical events of military repression in Argentina during the 1970s and 1980s. His action-packed prose unmasks his native countrys ethical and political corruption during the period of history that has come to be called The Dirty War. While others have insisted on pointing out his portrayal of the moral decay of the political process, this study suggests an aesthetic design.
