This annual publication provides a range of economic and social data for the countries of the Latin America and Caribbean region. Part one contains derived socio-economic indicators under the headings of social development and welfare, economic growth, domestic prices, capital formation and financing, external trade in goods and services and external financing. Part two gives historical data series in absolute figures for the region and individual countries regarding population, national accounts, domestic prices, balance of payments, external financing and debt, external trade in goods and services, natural resources and production of goods, infrastructure services, employment and social conditions. This edition also includes a CD-ROM with statistical tables, in Excel, covering data series from 1980 onwards.
