This is the 55th edition of the annual yearbook of statistics which presents data for the years 1997-2001 for 208 countries and territories on total arrivals and overnight stays for inbound tourism, with breakdown by country of origin. The data are derived from official figures received from national tourism administrations and statistical offices, as of March 2003. The yearbook is published in two volumes: the first volume provides information for countries from Albania to Luxembourg, and the second volume covers countries from Macau, China to Zimbabwe. Notes are provided in English, French and Spanish.
